Our first event this year was a well-attended, highly successful conversation, with not one, but two very knowledgeable authors discussing the ROC. Keir Giles interviewed Lucy Ash, examining the disturbing politics in her first book, The Baton and The Cross. This book explores the history of the Russian Orthodox Church and its current entanglement with Putin’s political and military policies.
We were thrilled that Lucy and Keir came to Oundle, and the audience really appreciated their visit and fact-filled, interesting conversation.
